Exceeding 25 + years, our client markets, builds and supports the long-term functionality and reliability of an impressive European portfolio of high-end food packaging systems & technologies.  Specialising in rigid and flexible packaging solutions, key customer segments include Meat, Ready Meals, Snacking-on-the-go, Produce, Bakery & Dairy.

This exciting and highly rewarding career development opportunity in Melbourne reports to the Sales Manager.  The major key responsibilities include;

  • Development & implementation of sales strategies and achieve budgets for Victoria and Tasmania
  • Sales reporting & CRM maintenance
  • Completing regular customer visits
  • Attending trade shows, industry exhibitions, product training & networking events
  • Consistently build strong customer & OEM relationships
  • Regularly complete market & competitor analysis
  • Continuously assess the market for emerging product and services projects, after sales and rigid packaging opportunities
  • Addressing challenges efficiently within the assigned customer territories
  • Maintaining a current knowledge of technologies provided by OEM’s
  • Proactively reading technical updates and attending online OEM training
  • Administration duties – preparing project estimates and reviewing quotations
  • Other adhoc duties

Tertiary (Engineering, Sales or Business) or Trade Qualifications are desirable. General competency with MS Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel is required.

Ideally, you will demonstrate impressive sales success and technical competence within either capital equipment, materials handling, perishable or hygienic product manufacturing, process or industrial automation or packaging (rigid or flexible) applications.  You will be competent in selling solutions into high volume and time critical production environments.

You will possess a full & current driver’s licence.
