I've tried different brands of batteries for my Panasonic GH4 and GH5 over the years. I've tried the name brand panasonic ones, wasabai brand ones and other lesser known ones to figure out which ones last the longest and which ones die after a few months. These Newmowa ones have not shown any signs of deterioration after months of use and charges. The batteries last as long as the panasonic ones and I love that they came with their own individual cases so I don't bump them around in my bag. The charge time is minimal and they work great.

Neat and Small charger with Batteries that actually last
There are two parts to this review; the charger and batteries.Charger:Comes with a USB cable, but no adapter. Not an issue for me since I have this connected to a multiport USB power unit.The usb port is located centered on the back which is great for desk organization.The LED lights are off when no battery is detected, Red when charging, and green when fully charged.It is not as fast as the OEM charger but that is not an issue since it charges up well and conveniently holds two batteries.This is meant to put them in and come back later.Batteries:I've usually had issues with poor battery life with aftermarket batteries for most cameras. However, the GH4 has great power consumption efficiency from the start. These batteries seem to perform just as well as the OEM one. This is the first time I am happy with aftermarket batteries.

UPDATE: Newmowa reached out and gave me a 99% coupon to repurchase the item via Amazon as that is the quickest way for them to replace the product.
Both batteries stopped functioning after about 4 months!

Purchased after much internet research praising these 3rd party batteries. Used sparingly over a few months and in rotation with 6 other OEM batteries before failure. One battery won't power on the GH5 at all. The other will power on the camera at which point I will be prompted that the battery can't be used (see picture) and then the device will power off. I have reached out to Newmowa for support and am waiting for a response so we will see how there CS is. If you love your camera probably best to go OEM anyways.Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2020
