Since setting up office in Namibia in 1991, the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has worked closely with the Government of the Republic of Namibia, supporting the country’s development aspirations in the Agriculture, Land, Fisheries, Forestry, Water and Environmental sector.
FAO supports the Government of the Republic of Namibia in the formulation of programmes that will meet her socio-economic development objectives. This is outlined in the Country Programming Framework for Namibia 2019-2023 (CPF) which sets out the four key priority areas to guide FAO's partnership with the government.
