Event Help Guide > Minimum Requirements The following requirements may exceed your current system configuration however, these specifications
are recommended in order to provide an optimal experience listening to/and or viewing events powered by ON24.
Hardware and Operating System Configurations
200 MHz or faster
64 MB RAM minimum/128 recommended
16 bit sound card
65,000 (16 bit) color video display card
Windows NT 4.0/Windows 98/Windows ME/Windows 2000/Windows XP
If you are using one of the following operating systems: Windows 95, Unix or a Mac, you may experience difficulty in viewing and/or listening to the event.
Before you access the event, you should ensure that your browser is configured to stream media. You will need a minimum Internet connection of 28.8Kbps, a 56Kbps connection is recommended.
In order to access the event, your computer must have cookies and JavaScript enabled. If your operating system currently does not have cookies or JavaScript enabled, contact your network administrator or reference the help links located on the registration page.
To enable cookies support when using Internet Explorer 6.0, complete the following steps:
Run Internet Explorer
Click on "Tools" on the menu at the top
Click on "Internet Options"
Click on the "Privacy" tab
Click on the "Advanced" button
Select "Override automatic cookie handling"
Select "Always allow session cookies"
To enable cookies support when using Internet Explorer 5.0, complete the following steps:
Run Internet Explorer
Click on "Tools" on the menu at the top
Click on "Internet Options"
Click on the "Security" tab
Click on the "Custom Level" Button under the security tab
Scroll down until you see "Cookies"
Make sure the box is checked that says "enable"
To enable Javascript support when using Internet Explorer 5.0 or later, complete the following steps:
Click Tools menu on the Internet Explorer
Click Internet Options
Click the Security tab
Click Custom
Under the Settings option, scroll down to locate Scripting
If you are viewing a non-streaming version of an event or webconference, you may need to download the latest Java Virtual Machine. Go to http://java.com/en/index.jsp to download the latest Java Virtual Machine.
