As Vice President, Customer Experience Engineering at Microsoft, Mike Adams leads a group of engineers who ensure customers have a great experience with Microsoft's commercial endpoint products throughout the full customer lifecycle (sales, onboarding and support). This includes our management, security and compliance products across platforms. We help customers make their employees more productive on the devices they love, and help IT ensure company data and devices are protected. Mike has been with Microsoft since 1996, and has held General Manager, GPM, Director of Engineering and Operations roles across multiple engineering teams. Mike spent several years developing, incubating and delivering Microsoft Online offerings across the email, collaboration (now Office 365) and desktop management space. From 1996 through 2000, Mike had overall responsibility for the implementation of SAP across Microsoft. Prior to Microsoft, Mike worked as lead engineering manager for an MRP system (since sold to Peoplesoft/Oracle). Mike has an inactive Top Secret Security Clearance from the United States Department of Defense and the National Security Agency, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, aka Virginia Tech.
