problem on Surface Duo 2 Canary and Dev
Canaryversion 115.0.1867.0 still has the issue of going to the background whenever launched on Microsoft Surface Duo 2 .We are two weeks into it not working. the problem has migrated to Dev.. the problem started with trying to open a new Tab , Dev has this problem now for a week. Please fix this.Solved1.4KViews1like8CommentsIt started with Canary and has moved to Dev Mobile
First, I need to say, this is with Microsoft Surface Duo 2. I do not see the problem(s) on Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. What started on Canary - there are further issues now - and has moved to Dev on Mobile is that you cannot switch tabs. Any time you choose the icon to select another Tab, Edge immediately goes to the background into the task list. You can bring it back up, but again, touching the Tab icon sends it to the background. This started in Edge Canary, and I've reported it several times, possibly under my business account but same name. Once in a while Canary would crash when doing this. Now on Canary this week, you cannot run it at all. You load Canary, it crashes. Please take a better attitude towards the Microsoft Surface Duo line than what we see from other parts of Microsoft.391Views0likes0CommentsEdge on Android, why is this missing in Beta version
On Edge for Android, there is a Flag: New Bing Always show on toolbar This appeared in Canary several weeks ago. I note that this week, there are flags in Dev and Released Versions, but nothing in the Beta Version. Was it a mistake for it to appear in the released version? Or is it a mistake it is not in the Beta version?525Views0likes0CommentsI love Bing Discover however, I want it back in the sidebar
In all versions of Edge: Canary, Dev, Beta, Released Bing Discover is now up top beside the Profile. It keeps showing up in and sometime out of the Sidebar, as if Managers of the development do not know where they want it. While I use Bing Discovey, a lot. I want it in the sidebar. I have other issues with the Sidebar I'll bring up in another topic. Why does Bing Discover show up in Sidebar settings if it is not living in the sidebar? It's there in Canary, Dev, Beta and Released. How about a switch in the sidebar settings, discover inside the sidebar or outside the sidebar?459Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft, I do have issue with things like this
I am in Discovery mode, chat. I decided to ask if my chats in Discovery Mode counted against my daily limit. I was told NO. I do not know if I should trust that, it would be nice if we got an answer; I will also ask in a seperate message. But that is not why I generated this message. Issue: After asking the above, one of the continue question asked by the Bot was something along the lines of "Tell me more about celebrity mode". I click that, it told me more. Ok. You, the bot brought this subject up, told me it existed and how it worked. I though, neat. So I went over to Regular Chat from bing.com. Asked about celebrity mode, it told me. One of the follow upd by Bing Chat was, "Tell me how to activate celebrity mode". Reply #2 in the chat With Bing chat told me how to activate. So, I tried to activate by using this as suggest and all I get is, Try a different topic, or I cannot talk about that. With very little prompting on my part, with no intent to harm I'll add, I was given this celebrity mode and yet get shut down when I use it. Why?582Views0likes0CommentsPlease consider adding Feedback
Please considering adding feedback forindividual chat responses from Bing, and maybe overall per session feedback option; this would be good for those of us that would like to provide more feedback to help improve things. I've had Bing end chats because it doesn't want to talk futher about something; when it really should not have done so. I would like to be able to identify those situations; along with, times that Bing provides incorrect information in chat, and of course, when it goes off-road on you.549Views2likes1Comment
