Steve joined Microsoft in 2011 as part of the acquisition of the Prodiance Corporation, a start-up and leader in the field of spreadsheet control software, where he was instrumental in guiding the company's suite of applications to meet customer requirements. He has brought his extensive knowledge of the real-world usage of these applications to Microsoft. Steve has continued to focus on many aspects of Excel, including leading the design of the Microsoft's spreadsheet management features, and helping to build smarter search capability for Excel files in SharePoint, better sensitive information detection, new worksheet functions, and improved accessibility in Excel.
