Grid view is now available on the Planner web portal
The web portal for Microsoft Planner (tasks.office.com) now supports Grid view, which is similar to List view in Tasks by Planner in Teams. This is a friendly note for web-portal visitors. However, it lacks a few key features when compared to Tasks by Planner in Teams. You can select multiple tasks (in Tasks by Planner in Teams) and change the assignment, bucket, dates, and other settings. The same is true for completing / reactivating tasks in the Planner web portal.4.9KViews0likes1CommentSuggested attachments in Planner
Hi, Microsoft rolled out this feature recently. Does this feature satisfy the Planner users? Let's deep dive and check. Admin center defines this feature as “Planner will recommend related files to attach to your tasks”. Let us dive deep and check what is there. What are suggested attachments in Planner? This new Planner feature allows users to quickly add attachments to their tasks from an intelligently curated list of relevant files. The recommendations are based on the task and the user. Microsoft has launched the ability to copy the plan to existing Office 365 Group in Microsoft Planner. Planner users started asking this feature when Microsoft initially launched the copy plan feature. Copy plan allows Project managers to copy a Plan which they create as a template and reuse for creating new plans. Finally, the wait is over! Initially, when Microsoft launched this feature a new office 365 Group will be created whenever you copy the plan. This was annoying for the admins and Project managers as more Groups will be created which is difficult for management and it is not possible to add the copied plan as the tab in the existing Team. So, the real power of the copy plan feature was unutilized until today. But from now on, PMs can copy the plan to the existing group and add it to different channels in the Teams. What gets copied and what not? Task element Copy(Ues/No) Name Yes Description Yes Checklist Yes Attachment Yes (If with in the same group) Show on card Yes Label Yes Assignment No (Even if within same group) Progress No (changes as Not started) Dates No Comments No Activity No Task order Yes Here is the detailed blog post about this feature -https://blog.jijitechnologies.com/copy-planner-within-same-team-or-group2.3KViews0likes0CommentsNew in Microsoft planner - Add and assign tasks to non-members of the Group

As mentioned in the O365roadmap, the Priority field for Planner tasks is now available. Microsoft has added 4 types of priority named Urgent Important Medium Low By default, the tasks created from Quick create and all the tasks created before implementing this feature will be marked are added with ‘Medium’ priority. However, there is no option to add the Priority for the task without opening it. It will be easy for users who create quick tasks if the Priority for the task can be updated without opening the task. I have posted the blog here which details what Microsoft has implemented in this feature and what you can expect. https://www.jijitechnologies.com/blogs/priority-field-for-microsoft-planner25KViews4likes20Comments
