The zip download also doesn't run on fedora - or at least it didn't for me. Though someone over at reddit recommended me to just compile tic80 myself for future people looking this up. I switched distro's in the meantime.

Hi everyone!
I changed my OS on my laptop to linux. Ultimately I decided to use fedora. I love Tic80 but it seems to be not supported on fedora? There is a package I was able to download from the software center but it only displays on a quarter of the display. Besides that it I would love to use the pro version since I paid for it and use Tic80 with Typescript (Tsc80) which requires the pro version.
Are there any fedora users who figured a way out to use the pro version?
I'd say when you're already familiar with Pico-8 and if you like JS (or even TypeScript) you should check out Tic80. The free version is already quite feature rich but the pro version ($10) also allows external Code-Editor like VSCode which enables you to use the Tic80 TypeScript template and exporting to a standalone game.
Its still limited like Pico-8 but way less than that. With its "Fantasy-Console" nature you obviously have all tools in one environment.
I was just coming over to ask the same question - but I sadly think it is. It is a great tiny "engine" to work with and I played around with it a lot - but it doesn't seem to be updated anymore. The creator, cstoquer, hasn't posted in ages on Twitter/X or commited anything on github on at all for quite some time now...
Hi there!
I tried to make a small game with a friend in Pixelbox but somehow pixelbox doesnt work at all on his machine? He only gets an error even without changing anything on a freshly created project.
He uses a fresh install and we re-installed pixelbox the first time this occured. we also tried to re-fetch the npm packages... nothing worked.
