Xsolla Supports Canadian Game Developers With Montreal Office Expansion

Supporting the gaming industry and developers in Quebec, Xsolla, a global video game commerce company has opened its first Canadian office in Montreal.

The expansion has been made possible due to a collaboration with GameAddik, the video game advertising firm. This stemmed from the successful cross-service opportunities explored with GameAddik’s dedicated marketing solution, GameRebellion, creating a robust support system for game developers in Canada.

Xsolla has decided to set up in Montreal as a way of fostering closer relationships with regional developers. Furthermore, by expanding its operations in the region, it will also be able to find local talent. All the while, Xsolla will continue to enhance its ability to offer tailored and localised solutions to its current partners and thousands of new game developers and publishers in Canada.

As part of this expansion, Xsolla plans to hire up to 50 regional employees over the next two years. It will target a mix of roles in business development, customer support, and technical services.

Connecting gamers and game developers

The new office will be a one-stop shop for companies looking for solutions to fund, launch, market, monetise, and sell their games to local gamers and fans of their games worldwide. Xsolla provides advanced tools and services to help game developers accelerate their business by reaching players who want to pay for their gaming experiences locally using their preferred payment methods.

“Montreal is renowned for its dynamic gaming ecosystem and innovative tech community. Our presence here will enable us to better support our local and global partners and tap into the incredible local talent pool,” said Xsolla’s president, David Stelzer. “This new office in Montreal will be crucial in strengthening our relationships with local game developers. It will also facilitate our mission to empower our partners to reach their full potential.”
