I have these game, can I have the key in steam

Write me an email.

Deleted 2 years ago

Silly Question but is this game not compatible with Windows 7? Doesn't seem to run for me

hey thank you for reaching out. It should work on windows 7 without a hitch. Could you go in depth on the issue?

I tried out the Demo for 0.1.4. When I double click the file nothing happens. What I'm trying to run is probably a bit outdated, I see this just released. No need to worry about this, I'm using a dated file. I wishlisted on Steam

Have you claimed the game here on itch? If so you should be able to get the latest version here for free! I've been updating the itch version since release with all updates so it's in sync with the steam release. If you install using the itch.io/app it should handle all updates automatically for you! Hopefully youll be able to run the latest that way.

Let me know if you have any more trouble we can get it running.

Done!, now it's part of my wish list, it's very entertaining, keep it up, all the luck in the world in your project.

Thank you so much! I'm very glad you enjoyed it :D
Which character did you like the best?

wishlisted this game on steam.. hope it helps u.. Thanks for proving it for free..

hey thank you so much! This is a huge help. Hope you enjoy!

Why is it not free anymore?

"As a side note to anyone reading this who doesn't own the game, it is totally free to claim until March 18. Download it and keep it forever!"

Did I miss a claim button?

Hi! Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I believe that when the lunar sale for Frisbros ended, it prematurely ended the custom sale I had running up until release.  It's back on sale and is free to claim until launch.

Thanks for the game.

Hope you like it! :)

😊👍

wow! Thank you so much for doing this. I learned a lot from your test actually ☺️ this will really help me make the best product I can! Can I ask if you thought you had to avoid the blue disc flying around in the sand level?

Also for the final area where you stopped the video, I'm curious if you ever tried that area again. The idea with the teleporter was to have a frisbros holding the disc while on the button.

I want to do it again if I have a chance. Thank you. dev :)

I would love to see you test it again! I am trying to release a new build in about one month which will have many fixes and finalize some big features like the ratings system!

I thought it would hurt if I hit a blue stone😂

and

This game was absolutely fun! it oozes with effort.

haha that's good to know! I'll be sure to make it more obvious that it's actually a wild disc!

And thank you! Very kind words :)

You should add an option to remap the keys because the game is unplayable with a french keyboard (AZERTY) and it will also be helpful for left handed peoples.

Noted! I probably won't be able to get to that before release but I will look into getting it done post launch. Thank you for letting me know of your use case

How do I claim rhis game? I can only see download? I will definitely support as much as I can wishlisting it. Good luck!

Hi Bobby! By claim I just mean being able to download and keep it forever. I've been getting a lot of people who are unfamiliar with itch coming to this page so I chose to use the word claim so they get a better sense of what exactly happens when they download (getting the copy and not having to buy it on any other platforms to receive updates)

Thank you for the wishlist!

Just so I get it right, there is also a possibility to claim games here on itch as well, as I have done that before. Then if I later would like I could download the game, whereas yours is to download and install the game, and if I uninstall it I won't have it anymore. right? :)

Best of luck!

Hi Bobba, I wasn't aware that you could claim games on itch and will have to look into this and probably change the language.  With my game now you can download before March 18 and keep it on this platform for free with the promise that I will post all future updated versions of the game to itch

Your comment also made me double check how getting updates will work after the game goes off sale. I've looked into it and according to itch, once you downloaded the game you are given a unique url where you can redownload the game at any time in case you delete the game or simply want the lastest update.

In all honesty this seems like a bit more work than I was hoping it would be for users. What I do is use the itch.io/app. If you download that it works like a steam client where you can download itch games through it and run them instead of having to download separate games. This app also has the added benefit of auto updating your game so you don't have to worry about redownloading the latest version. I recommend getting it this way!

Anyway I hope this helps. I'll be sure to change my wording.

No worries my dude! Thanks for the reply!

It would just be better to be able to claim a game and have it in the library, but that's just my opinion.

I'm rooting for you!!!

All the best!!!

Thank you! I'll check out how to make that happen!

Hi Bobby, my apologies once again. You can infact claim the game right now. I just ran a test to follow up on this and it will link it to your account. I was unaware that this was called claiming in itch but that's totally possible during this sale.

Wishlisted!

Thank you so much, Frisbrother!

Dankeschön! Habe es auch in der Wunschliste auf Steam.

Thank you!

If just adding game to steam wishlist means so much, then I will do it.

Thank you so much. The wishlist help the game get noticed by the Steam algorithm gods on launch day. This helps a ton to keep the game from getting buried alive under all the other games that release!

Are you considering a Linux release?

(+1)

I haven't been simply because I don't use Linux myself, but I suppose if Unity supports building for it, then I could give it a whirl. Ill do some testing in the next few weeks and let you know what I learn.

Retry option while in a round would be great.  Instead of having to back out to the main menu and pick the course and players again.

Oh boy. I should have put it in a tutorial at the beginning. It's already implemented. Hold R ,on keyboard. B on Xbox or O on ps controllers!

That's my fault, I looked at the how to play screen when I first started the game and didn't even notice the restart command at the bottom.  I was referring to the menu when pausing the game in round.

Gotcha. I want to keep it on the controller for ease of access when going for leaderboards. What Im taking from this is it should probably be shown in game that you can do this. (Subtely)

This is a really unique and fun game with cute graphics and sound, but there were a few things that made it kind of frustrating for me in single-player mode.  I got stuck on level 4 because of them.

My first issue is that having to move both characters at once is kind of a problem when there are hazards to avoid.  In level 4, if I missed a throw, inevitably one character would end up in the water multiple times while I had the other run after it.  If I had to step off the switch prematurely because I was moving the other character, I had to spend several throws re-orienting myself onto the switch.  Would it be possible to hold Ctrl / Shift to move only one at a time?  Since the game is meant for two players, I'm assuming that moving at the same time isn't meant to be a core part of the challenge.

My other issue was just that I had trouble seeing exactly where the frisbee would go on a long throw.  Level 4 in particular demands precision over long distances, since missing a throw can cause the frisbee to become irretrievable, or (as I mentioned) cost you several strokes as you fumble after it.  I think a tracer would help a lot - it doesn't have to go all the way out, just a short distance past the cursor would help visualize its path.  Do you think this would make it too easy?  On my last attempt at level 4, I failed because the frisbee landed a few pixels away from the goal and I couldn't retrieve it.

Aside from those issues though, I had fun playing, and I wish I could give the coop mode a try since it seems like it would be even more fun.  Good work!

Thank you for the kind words and the feedback! Yea the single player mode is still a very new addition so there are a ton of problems with maneuvering both characters. I’ve experimented with controlling one at a time but so far none of my implementations have made it any easier. I will let you know down the line if I figure out anything particularly clever.

Tracing the shots is a planned feature coming down the line as well as cleaning up the levels so there are no irritrevable disc situations. Thank you for reporting the level four one, I will probably be removing the floor beneath the goal on that level to make it simply fall into the water if you miss the goal!

I’m glad you had a good time though! Let me know if you get to try the coop mode! I would love to get your feedback on that as well.

Hey there, your game looks really interesting and fun but unfortunately I can't get it to run. Not sure if it is helpful information for you. I am able to get to the main menu (awesome background btw), and I can click any button to continue, but then when I try to choose single player/multiplayer/quit, none of the buttons work and I have to alt-f4 out of the game. Tried using the arrow keys and various keyboard buttons, but not luck. I'm on win10 and have run plenty of other Unity games without issue. I thought it was because I have a 4k display with my display scale set to 125%, thinking maybe something with the scaling was messing up mouse detection, but I tried relaunching the game multiple times with different scales and resolutions and still have the issue. I also tried re-downloading the 64bit zip and that had no effect. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know in case it helps. Would love to give your game a try :)

Thank you for letting me know, that is very helpful. Last patch was all about improving controls so something might have come undone. Unfortunately I’m away on vacation and won’t have access to my computer until mid next week, but here are a couple of steps that might help you get past the main screen in the mean time:

If your mouse appears on screen and you hover over the options, do they get hilighted? If not try switching from using keyboard to mouse and back until the UI focuses on one of the elements.

If you have a controller, plug it in before starting the game and move the joystick. It should automatically snap to the single player option for you to click. If that doesn’t work try switching between the mouse and joystick. One of them hopefully will be able to focus on one of the buttons.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I’ll try to patch it soon!

Thanks for the reply, I'm glad it is helpful! No, when I hovered the mouse over the options, they didn't highlight, which seemed like a warning sign. I'll try your suggestions and see if that fixes the issue. Hope you have a nice vacation! Thanks!

Of course! And yeah that’s definitely a warning sign, might have something to do with your resolution / screen size configuration hiding the button element somehow. Hope you have some luck with the joystick in the mean time!

Nice, looks like the controller worked, so I got to play! Really fun game. The throwing mechanic feels really good, and so does the catching. I definitely need to practice to be able to play when there are enemies, that got chaotic really quickly! Love the vibe though, art is really nice, music is really good, too. This might not be what you are going for, but I wouldn't mind having like a "peaceful" mode where you are just playing the frisbee golf game without monsters. It was challenging enough just trying to get it around the level without having to also fend off enemies :D, but maybe also difficulties with a slower progression would be nice. Overall though, glad I got it working. Nice job!

Very glad you got it working :) Thank you for the feedback and the kind words. I agree, the enemies were an early concept that seemed like a good idea before I had a better understanding of what the game was. I’m starting to notice that peaceful is a word that several people that play have been saying so I will definitely consider leaning into that as a design pillar. Out of curiosity, what was your favourite level and have you tried multiplayer? I wonder if the vibe will change if you play with a friend.

The game is nothing short of phenomenal! I actually played it twice on recording, the first time I forgot to hit record, but wasn't even mad because I got to play it again! I cannot wait to see what more comes of this! Left a follow and keep it up!!!! (the vid will probably be up in an hour of this post, and the HD part will probably take another hour to process haha sorry xD)

Hi, thank you so much for playing and making the video.  I'm glad you enjoyed it :)  What was your favorite level?

The plan is to release 18 holes in total so there are still more surprises to come.
