For her wedding to Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant's bridal ensemble truly redefined elegance and tradition, thanks to the creative vision of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Described as a “fairytale come to life” by stylist Rhea Kapoor, Radhika’s look beautifully embodied the essence of the Gujarati tradition of ‘Panetar’ — a bridal attire known for its iconic red and white palette.

Radhika’s dress, an ivory Zardozi masterpiece, featured a complex design that combined tradition with a touch of modernity. The ensemble included a trailing ghagra, which was layered with a detachable trail for added drama. The ghagra itself was adorned with three borders of vibrant red, meticulously embroidered with a symphony of Naqshi, Saadi, and Zardozi work. The intricate floral motifs were lavishly embellished with stones, sequins, tamba tikkis, and a delicate touch of red Resham thread, creating a visual feast of textures and patterns.

The bridal look was complemented by a stunning five-meter head veil, crafted with impossibly delicate jaali and cut-work, adding an ethereal quality to the ensemble. This veil, paired with the detachable trail measuring 80 inches, exemplified the craftsmanship and attention to detail characteristic of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s designs.

Adding the final touch to this regal look was a fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta, which elevated the overall silhouette with its maximalist drama and grandeur. The combination of these elements not only honored traditional Gujarati bridal attire but also introduced a fresh, contemporary twist that ensured Radhika Merchant’s wedding look remained unforgettable.
