Silent Wings 2491
'Silent Wings 2491' is my submission for #MyFirstGameJam Summer 2022 and homage to one of my favorite games as a kid - Screaming Wings 1942.
Silent Wings 2491 is a lite scrolling shoot'em up with some roguelike elements. However, you CANNOT shoot in this game! you can only evade your enemies and their bullets. Your objective: look for someone who could help you 'heal' your airplane while surviving the enemies attacks.
How to play
- Use the arrows to move your airplane
- Use 'z' to make a roll*
- Use 'x' to dash*
*you are invincible while you are doing a dash or roll
Watch it played!
Thanks to @browntulstar! he played 'Silent Wing 2491' on his twitch stream.

wow, a very good idea. The implementation is normal. The project is very promising.
Thank you for taking time to play and comment! :D
This game has an otherworldly and eerie feel to it. The premise is simple but the fact that you're forced into a defensive gamestyle makes it interesting. Well done!
Thanks for playing! I'm happy that you find the game interesting and also that you like the eerie feeling of it. :D
