Diagnosed years ago with an aortic aneurysm, Ashland resident Bonnie Hutton was under careful, frequent monitoring by her cardiologist at UK King’s Daughters. When a secondary health condition began causing complications, she was sent to UK HealthCare in Lexington for complex surgery — and became the first patient in Kentucky to receive a new, less invasive treatment to repair the aneurysm.
