If someone were to ask me to describe Vimas Ecriture, these are the words I would use. I am confident in the assertion that every writer - every person - at some point in their life will have struggles with their identities and place in our world. Vimas Ecriture is born out of my own search for new inspiration. VE symbolises an attempt at confronting some issues that I have struggled, and continue to struggle to come to terms with. Providing what I hope is a honestly intimate and relatable expression of my thoughts and contemplations as I journey through life, and face the difficulties associated with being upon the cusp of change. In some ways political, in others dealing with identity, this collection does not shy away from being authentically open.
