WingedHares is currently a one-man game dev studio, focusing on conveying character-driven stories through visual novel hybrids, with a particular emphasis on relationships, romance, the horrific and bittersweet parts of existence, the psyche, empathy, and the balance of nature and technology.
At its core, WingedHares creates worlds from the raw perspective of its main developer, Nameless L.W., who is Southeast Asian, bisexual ( homoflexible, to be precise ), polyamorous, agnostic, vegetarian, and some others he'd rather not disclose, with suspected autism and adhd.
Time and time again, living in a rather religiously extreme environment, he has experienced oppression for his identity and self-expression, all of which are often reflected in his works, in as real a manner as he possibly can convey within the limits of fantastical settings.
WingedHares was born out of the desire to create projects that are quite personal, comes directly from the heart, and cathartic to make, to heal from his real world wounds.
Projects that will provide an opportunity for Nameless L.W. to connect, perhaps even to give hope.
With those who wish to partake in his worlds.
Even if only for a few hours.
Or even minutes.
And down to the very last seconds.
