DESCRIPTION

The SPS-9340RG series single mode transceivers is small form factor pluggable module for bi-directional serial optical data communications such as 10GBASE LX-4, Serial ATA/ATA2, SONET OC-48 / SDH STM-16, Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-LX and 1x/2x Fibre Channel. It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. This module is designed for single mode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 1550 nm. A guaranteed minimum optical link budget of 18 dB is offered which can correspond to a link distance of over 40 km (assuming worst case fiber loss of 0.3 dB/km).
