"The Technical Interview Preparation course is not just another course; it's a transformative experience that equips you with the skills and confidence needed to tackle the toughest coding problems and excel in interviews...The course dives deep into hands-on practice and guidance from experienced instructors...The confidence I gained from mastering the fundamentals opened doors to opportunities I previously thought were out of reach."

Taaruni, Georgia State University - Class of 2024

CodePath’s E3 program has prepped me for the computer science industry outside of a regular classroom setting; from meeting incredibly supportive mentors to getting coached by industry professionals in one of the many courses offered by CodePath, I’ve grown both from learning as a TIP student and from networking with their career support."

*CodePath offers opportunities outside of the CodePath E3 Program that all students at participating schools are invited to attend.

97% more likely to land a full-time tech role

The numbers are clear—students who engage in a technical internship as an undergraduate are 65% more likely to land a full-time technical role within six months of graduation. That metric improves to 97% if the student completes two technical internships prior to graduation.

The Codepath E3 Program is designed to accelerate the progress of computing students by positioning them to secure one and, in some cases, multiple technical internship opportunities before graduation. This commitment to internship readiness sets students up for success.

  • Can I take CodePath courses outside my chosen elective pathway?

Yes! All students are welcome to apply for enrollment in any CodePath course. CodePath E3  Scholars are given priority admission.

  • Do I have to become a CodePath E³ Scholar to enroll in CodePath courses?

Not-for-credit: Anyone can apply to enroll in CodePath Connected Classroom (not-for-credit) online courses. These courses have limited availability, however, and students in the CodePath E3 Program are given priority admission.

For-credit: All students who meet the course prerequisites are eligible to enroll in CodePath courses offered for credit at their college or university. If these courses are full, priority is given to students participating in the CodePath E3 Program.

  • Is this a paid opportunity?

The CodePath E3 Program is not a paid opportunity. However, a major focus of the program is helping students land paid technical summer internships that lead to full-time job offers. Additionally, participants in CodePath E3 Program can apply for a range of financial aid opportunities that are offered exclusively to CodePath E3 Scholars.

  • Am I guaranteed an internship/job offer if I join the CodePath E³ Program?

While we can’t guarantee you’ll land particular job and internship offers, actively engaging in the CodePath E3 Program makes you the optimal candidate that our corporate partners are looking for, thus greatly improving your chances.

  • What happens if I don’t complete a required CodePath E³ Program course or don’t complete it successfully?

The most important thing is communication with the CodePath Community Engagement Manager, who can help you create a customized journey through the CodePath E3 Program. They will work with you to find options to meet the program requirements, all oriented toward helping you find and land internships and job opportunities. The Program also provides peer resources, like study groups and mentorship, to help ensure your success. Successful completion of the courses in the CodePath E3 Program Course sequence is a requirement to remain a CodePath E3 Scholar.

Courses offered for credit at your college or university will be governed by the school’s normal policies around grading and receiving college/university credit.

  • Am I required to take CodePath classes to be part of the CodePath E3 Program?

Although you’re not required to take a class when joining the program, you are expected to complete a CodePath course within the first two semesters of onboarding. When not taking a course, you will be required to attend a minimum number of engagement events and activities to be part of the program.

"I’ve always been fascinated with the hackers' world. It was lucky of me, against many other applicants, to be accepted into this course. Although it could be a bit challenging without prior basic knowledge, the lectures are quite informative. Every week we get to explore new topics and hacking concepts with practice. I believe some problems are close simulations of real-world scenarios. To anyone pursuing a career path in Cybersecurity, this course truly aligns with your passion."

“CodePath's cybersecurity program was a life changing opportunity for me. I learned so much that would benefit me individually and any organization I become a part of. The weekly classes, labs, and individual/group projects made this experience hands-on and so much fun. The knowledge I gained from this class landed me a Summer 2023 internship, what more could I have asked for?”

"Most HBCU CS Chairs are under-resourced. Even if we had the money, there just aren't enough CS professors. CodePath allows us to connect our students directly to what's being taught in the industry plus increase the number and quality of courses taught for free."

    BARUCH SCHIEBER, PH.D.

Professor and Chair, Department of Computer Science, New Jersey Institute of Technology

“CodePath is leveling the playing field. We are not one of the top 10 universities, but with CodePath we can give our students similar opportunities. With CodePath our students are introduced to the state of the art tools that are used in the industry, which may not be covered in other courses.”

    ELI ARMSTRONG

    Instructor, College of Southern Nevada

“CodePath is filling the gap between school work and the real world. CodePath helps students practice things like teamwork and using Git resources that would be considered dishonest in the academic setting. They’re giving students a real-world technical experience and proof that you actually know how to do the job.”
