Hussain attending the 12th IEEE Working Conference on Software Visualization (#VISSOFT2024) and the 24th IEEE International Conference on Source Code Analysis and Manipulation (#SCAM2024). We’ll also be presenting our VISSOFT 2024 paper “PIE: A Tool for Visualizing the Lifecycle of Design Patterns in Open Source Software Projects” (co-authored with Christopher Collins). #OntarioTech

Congratulations to Stacey Koornneef on receiving a $35,000 grant from the Digital Research Alliance of Canada | Alliance de recherche numérique du Canada as part of their equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA) pilot program. Under this program Stacey will be working with the Ontario Tech Women in Research Council under the mentorship of council chair, Dr. Karla Dhungana Sainju. Stacey's proposed work includes assessing EDIA challenges and needs among Ontario Tech graduate students and facilitating workshops aimed at strengthening graduate student support across the institution. Stacey Koorneef is a first year PhD student in the SEER Lab researching accessible computer science education under the supervision of Dr. Jeremy Bradbury. #OntarioTech #EDI #gradstudies

Welcome to the lab Syeda Bisha Fatima who will be joining us as an undergraduate research student working on automating software testing with AI.
