Our research into cybersecurity practices of politicians around the world continues with Denmark, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. 🇳🇱 18% of Dutch politicians had their email addresses leaked. Overall, 35 passwords were exposed, 32 of them being in plaintext. 🇩🇰 41% of Danish politicians had email addresses leaked. Overall, 93 passwords were exposed 69 of which were in plaintext. 🇱🇺 Luxembourg’s small parliament saw only 16% of their politicians having leaked email addresses. 43 passwords were leaked, 38 of them being in plain text. We found more than just emails and passwords - dates of birth, residential addresses, and social media accounts were also linked to these politicians’ email addresses. (We also informed every affected politician that they had sensitive data exposed on the internet before publishing this article.) https://lnkd.in/dDZAubm7
