Manage LinkedIn conversation notification settings

Important to know

This feature is currently only available on the LinkedIn mobile app and for messages with multiple participants.

LinkedIn Messaging allows you to stay in touch with colleagues, associates, and new opportunities. Anyone who is a part of the conversation can choose to be notified about the activity in the conversation, mentions, or mute notifications.

To manage notifications for a conversation/chat with multiple participants:

  1. Tap the  Messaging icon on the upper right.

  2. Tap on the message you want manage notification settings for.

  3. Tap the / More icon on the upper right.

  4. Tap Notification settings.

  5. From the Notifications for this conversation/chat pop-up window, you can select one of the three options available: All activity (default)Only Mentions, or Mute notifications.
