Who can use this feature?

AI-powered insights on professional topics and jobs are only available in English for Premium subscribers. Additionally, if you're a subscriber based in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, you’ll have the choice to connect your LinkedIn experience (including Feed, Messaging, Network and Search) to LinkedIn Jobs, so that we can combine data across these services. Without connecting your LinkedIn experience to LinkedIn Jobs, you will not be able to use these AI-powered features. Learn more about connecting to LinkedIn services.

Important to know

This feature is available in English only, and will continue to roll out and be available to more Premium subscribers in the future, including eligible subscribers in the European Economic Area. You will see this feature on some posts on feed and job postings.

AI-powered insights on LinkedIn are a set of features that use generative AI to provide members with personalized insights and key takeaways to help you stay informed, grow your skills, and land the right job more easily and efficiently.

On the LinkedIn feed, this feature helps you by providing personalized insights like takeaways and suggestions related to the post you’re viewing.

On a job posting, AI-powered job insights will help you learn more about a job or company, understand your fit for a role, and how to best position yourself if you apply.

Your LinkedIn membership and use of our services are subject to the LinkedIn User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Professional Community Policies. Because we leverage Microsoft’s Bing technology to power some parts of this feature, the Microsoft Privacy Statement will apply to any personal data you may input into the input box for the AI-powered takeaways feature, as well as any personal data included in any Bing provided results.

Important to know

We strongly recommend that you verify the AI-generated responses for authenticity as they may contain inaccuracies. It’s important that you assess the answers for accuracy and appropriateness before you rely on them.

To access AI-powered insights on professional topics and jobs:

Click on the Jobs icon on the top of your LinkedIn home page.
Click on a job posting you’re interested in.
Click on the Sparkle icon next to a prompt below a job posting to get personalized insights about the job.
Responses to your question will be generated by AI in a pop-up window.
From the Sparkle pop-up window, you can:
- View jobs or profiles of members related to your question
- Click on links to update your profile, apply for a job, learn more about a job/company, or find resources to help you in your job search
- See posts related to your question
- Apply for a job
Click on the  Dropdown icon on the upper right of the window to close the AI-powered takeaways and advice.

For some of our generative AI features, we rely on Bing to provide you more up to date information and a more relevant response. Bing is operated by Microsoft and so the part of the Microsoft Privacy Statement https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement that applies to Bing may apply to personal data that you input into generative AI features.
