- [Presenter] While trauma responsiveness isn't the sole responsibility of any one individual in the workplace community, adopting a trauma-informed lens to your work environment is a helpful approach for all. Taking on that method will serve the greater community you're a part of, including you. Becoming trauma responsive includes anything under the umbrella of helping to prevent, mitigate, or address experiences that can increase distress in others at work. This will also help to foster an organizational culture that increases psychological safety and likely improves workflows as a result, so the impact becomes cyclical and mutually beneficial to the environment and its constituents. Although policies and procedures must also be put in place to develop a trauma responsive workplace, you can help promote respectful interactions among colleagues that can help minimize the stress for everyone.
