- Emotional resilience is something that we all have. We each carry a capacity to pick ourselves back up when life pushes us down. So what we're about to get into is a set of practices to build upon what is already inherently in you. Emotional resilience refers to our ability to respond to stressful and many times unexpected situations that throw off our emotional equilibrium. Sound familiar? Well, that's because this sounds a bit like what triggers do. They disrupt our capacity to feel well, either temporarily or for the long term. And resilience can help to redirect that energy and promote wellbeing in the moment and for the long term. So how do we build this innate capacity that we each hold?
