- [Narrator] When footprinting either an individual organization or company, it's essential to track the online reputation of the target. In this segment, we'll learn how to assess online reputation by using image and video search engines, social media, and Google alerts. With so much of our lives online, it goes without saying that part of what we represent might be visible. The posts, videos, and images will shape our reputation. No single source is going to provide a complete picture of a company's reputation. Because of this, you'll want to check multiple sources to get a well-rounded view of the target. Let's talk about what's available when searching online. Sometimes, it's best just to start with a simple search for a blog or social media site that references the target. I'll step through what I might find while searching. For example, while using the keyword "Landon Hotel" in the search, I might stumble on a social media…
