- [Instructor] For the Aircrack demo, we're going to be connecting a physical wireless network adapter to your virtual Kali Linux machine instance. As I mentioned in a previous video, I like to use the ALFA adapters. And for this particular demo, I'm using the AWUS036ACH model. I'm using this model because of that Realtek chip set. It's easier to get it up and running in Kali with that chip set. Although, you have a lot of options available. Depending on the adapter that you've selected, you'll want to research the directions for connecting it to Kali before continuing with this demo in your own lab. Once you get the wireless network adapter connected, you'll open a terminal window and type ifconfig. Within that list, you should now see an entry for wlan0. This is the network interface that Kali understands to be your wireless network adapter. That means that using this interface, your Kali VM can now see wireless…
