- [Instructor] So now you're ready to download and install Wireshark. Head on over to the wireshark.org page, where you'll see this screen. We'll select download, which takes us to this section. First, we'll see the stable release, which is what I have selected and already downloaded. Within this section, you can see the windows installer for 64 bit and also 32 bit, but then there's also one for macOS and others. Now what's important, is that you'll want to keep the most recent release on your machine. Now, why is that? Well, people submit bugs to the developers all the time and they then do their best to fix as many issues as possible. So when you get an update, you'll get a release with certain functions that have been enhanced and also bugs that have been fixed. Now you can also select old stable release, which of course is an older version, and then there is the development release. We'll go to the downloads…
