PyData Seattle Conference

We kicked this year’s PyData Conference off with a bang, celebrating with the pre-conference Meetup party at the Databricks Bellevue Office! 

Chengyin Eng and Hyukjin Kwon , from Databricks , presented “Introducing Spark Connect - The Power of Apache Spark, Everywhere”. cc Apache Spark #apachespark #sparkconnect

Jasmine Wang from Alluxio , presented “Simplify and speed up cloud storage data access of #AI training”.

Hosted by Eloisa E. with featured guests Denny Lee (from Databricks ) and Jules Damji (from Anyscale ) held a panel discussion “The past, present and future of #opensource”.

And we concluded the evening’s events with a raffle as well as a pie bar! 💯🎉🥧

We held two great sessions at this year’s PyData in Seattle, Washington - MLOps Deployment Patterns with Delta Lake and MLflow by Mary Grace Moesta and Building Reliable, Open Lakehouses with Delta Lake by Jim Hibbard .
