LinkedIn: A reminder that embracing failures lead to the most significant growth in your #JobSearch. And if the failures take you a few steps backs, it does not mean the end of the world. Years ago when I was a job seeker, I remember being scared of making mistakes like asking "silly questions" during interviews, following up too much, or negotiating a deserving salary. And I would think to myself "What if the recruiter gets upset and decides not to hire me?" It's okay to fear mistakes, especially when you don't know what's right. However, remember that: - Most People Make Mistakes: Many winners credit their achievements to learning from mistakes. Just because you made yours doesn't mean it's over. - A mistake is a learning opportunity: Making mistakes help you instantly realize what does not work. So, you make better choices and raise your odds! PC: Roberto Ferraro #JWoW #Wonsulting #JobTips #Hiring #OpenToWork #JobSearch

Mistakes are often the stepping stones to success. Embracing failures, especially in a job search, can lead to significant growth. Here’s another angle: those “silly questions” and persistent follow-ups can actually set you apart, showing curiosity and determination. Remember: • Mistakes are common: Even the most successful individuals have stumbled. • Learning from mistakes: Each mistake is a lesson, guiding you to better choices and increasing your odds of success. What’s one mistake you’ve learned from that helped you grow? Let’s share and inspire each other! #JobSearch #JobTips #OpenToWork

From other's mistakes or experience would be the next bar to right and the tallest - having good mentors -- may be that's already subsumed by the first=lowest bar.

Jonathan Javier💡 - Absolutely! Theory provides the foundation, but practice truly helps us internalize those concepts and learn from our mistakes. The key is to analyze those mistakes and use them as stepping stones for improvement.

This is so true. Honestly, the mistakes I've made in my career are the ones that stick with me and definitely learned from them (usually I was harder on myself than anyone else).
