LinkedIn: When your bio could be a sentence. But then nobody would know you once rescued a baby bird from a tree. 😂 Okay, but seriously, Who else feels like simple, straightforward descriptions are just fine? That was me 8 years ago during my #JobSearch. I didn't even write descriptions for some of my experiences, thinking recruiters would understand the past roles on my resume. Over time, what I realized about adding detailed description to your resume was... 💡Details help a lot: They show you understand the significance of what you do, and can measure your impact. 💡Detailing is an art: You need to craft job details on your resume to be neither scant nor cumbersome. Usually, 3 bullet points suffice. 💡AI helps: AI works wonder in this era, guys. If unsure how to flesh out your key job achievements, just use AI tools like ResumAI by Wonsulting. It's really hard to define yourself in one line. If someone asks me what I do, I just tell them that I operate a portfolio of internet companies. In reality it's much more complicated.

Couldn’t agree more and really like how you put this! I see a lot of my client struggle with this. Especially when they didn’t need this before. I think we need to put ourselves more into the shoes of the readers that mostly never have met us before and don’t know who we are. Additionally, most people focus on technical stuff only - which is of course important - but nothing without the person behind it. Accomplishments rather than responsibilities, easy language that helps people truly understand instead of titles etc that sound good but no one will understand.
