LinkedIn: Making a major change in your #JobSearch is, no doubt, a tense experience. And taking the first step often feels like the most intimidating part. You may be trying to network more, upskill/reskill, or even build your personal brand online. Many feel uncertain or overwhelmed about it all and start to procrastinate - which is totally understandable. However, remember this: - It's perfectly normal to feel unsure about new experiences. Recognize it, but don't let it hinder your progress. - You want this new experience for a reason. Let your self-motivation overshadow your apprehension. - Small, actionable steps make the beginning more achievable. For instance, if trying to upskill, try short online courses before signing up for indepth courses. What I truly believe: Complexity is an illusion. Break any mission into bite-sized pieces and the difficulty disappears. No need to stall. You can do this! Complexity is often a mental construct, a way of perceiving things that can limit our potential. By simplifying our thinking and focusing on the essentials, we can unlock new insights and innovative solutions. In my experience, complexity often stems from overthinking, analysis paralysis, or fear of making a wrong move. But, as the saying goes, 'simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.'
