LinkedIn: When the recruiter forgot their own job description 😂 Seriously, why else would you send a rejection email to someone who actually got hired a month ago? It just shows that if a recruiter ghosts you on your #JobSearch, it might not be your fault. But this shouldn't limit you from landing the roles you deserve. Here's what you can do. 📌 Send a friendly follow-up email after the interview, reminding them you're excited about the opportunity. 📌If something relevant comes up after the interview, send a brief email mentioning it. 📌If you know someone at the company, see if they can provide any insights or a gentle nudge for the recruiter. It's important to avoid sounding pushy or demanding throughout the process. Keep it professional and organized; the recruiter will definitely be in touch. Go get those jobs! Sounds like that recruiter might need a GPS to find their own job descriptions!

Haha, sounds like that recruiter needs a job description reminder! Maybe they should hire someone to keep track of their hires! Great tips on following up after interviews, though. Persistence pays off!

Ha! I once got a rejected email like this, but they had already offered me and I HAD TURNED THEM DOWN. Automation Fail! 🫣

So this is probably just an automated system and some kinda human error where you got entered wrong or something. That said... I don't understand why these automated rejection emails can't be more humane. Like, it takes you no effort. Just edit the template. Maybe include some resources, or some words of encouragement. We can all do our part to help each other rise. ✨
