Employee Recognition: I walked into work today greeted by this beautiful bouquet from our President. Today is the day we begin training our consulting staff on one of the foundational pieces of our new system. I began this project 280 days ago after receiving a product recommendation from one of our partners. I can’t count the hours it’s taken, but I can count a few things this signifies. 1) No one on our team does anything alone. 2) We do great work because it matters. 3) We work hard without the expectation of recognition. 4) We are proud of the clients we serve. 5) We believe in each other and our mission. No, I haven’t done this alone, but in many ways I feel like this project is my work baby. I’ve learned SO MUCH during this transition. The hallway celebrations when passing milestones have been feeding my professional soul for months. However, this feels….final, like we made it, like we get to embrace the fruits of our labor. Now onto the next phase of training and implmentation!
