Super proud of Bobby's team and all they've accomplished with Einstein Model Builder!! And on a product related note, safe harbor, we are working in the background to see how much we can align on and reuse AI functions across the board in Data Cloud. I've been to 14 Dreamforces. 12 in person, and 2 virtually. I always look forward to the main keynote because that's when Salesforce makes all the new product announcements and sets up our latest and greatest vision. The goal is, of course, to wow our customers and show them that we're solving all their most important business challenges. However, my biggest job as a Product leader post main keynote is to unpack the vision and show off what's realistic today vs what we're building in the future. While I have to admit, some years have been harder than others to unpack the vision (and also the constant name changes that I know everyone loves), this year's Agentforce announcement felt like one of our best. We didn't just rebrand Copilots to Agents, we launched a brand new reasoning engine with topics and instructions that actually makes everything work. Rather than having to explain to each customer what Agentforce really is and give them a generic list of use cases they might be interested in, I just asked "Did you see the demo?" and then we would deep dive into their specific needs. One of the best parts of our Agentforce AI strategy is that it also includes Predictive ML models at it's core. While Generative AI large language models are truly a game changer, predictive ML is still the most efficient way to learn from data trends. That's why Einstein Studio allows customers to manage both their Generative and Predictive ML models in a single place grounded in Data Cloud Data. At Dreamforce my team and I focused a lot on showing how Agentforce can use predictive models as actions within its reasoning engine, grounded on Data Cloud data trends and statistics. What’s worse than a bad lead? A lead that wastes your time! ⏲️ Picture this, you’re an Account Manager and you’ve just received a notification of a new Customer Success Qualified Lead (CSQL). Intrigued, you check Salesforce to see what it’s all about. You and I both know there isn’t much context in Salesforce so you open Gong to find the last meeting with the customer. You spend 30 minutes trying to find when the customer mentioned the lead but nothing comes up… Frustrated, you then ping your CSM for more info. Congrats to Salesforce on launching #Agentforce today! A common question I get talking to clients and AEs alike is, "Is Data Cloud required for Agentforce?" The short answer is, "Yes and no." Agentforce does require that #DataCloud is *set up*, however, it doesn't necessarily require an *implementation*. This is mainly due to the fact that some connectivity to LLMs through Einstein Studio is part of Data Cloud (as well as I imagine some under-the-hood vector database capability is used for Einstein Data Libraries, but I don't know that for certain). This can be done as simply as provisioning the $0 SKU from the Your Account page in your org, then after it's provisioned, it should get setup automatically. You can check by going to the gears icon > Data Cloud Setup and see if the setup process has started on that page. You don't need to necessarily go any further than that to build your first agent. There's obvious benefits to building Search Indexes (Indices?) to allow #AI to search unstructured data, as well as making external data available to reference, but you won't need to worry about those bridges until you cross them.
