Inclusive culture ( DE&I)
To truly understand diversity and inclusion, you must first understand the system of Indian society. then it will be easier to understand
In India every concept in business management has been adopted from western people, I am not against western’s but despite everything we have here, we are not able to see them.
Today organisations’s are showing a lot of interest in topics like Diversity Equity & Inclusion. There has been an atomospere of inclusive culture in India for centuries in terms of employment or in other form. Indian villages were completely full of diversity with people of different caste, class, belief and occupation. But the approach was such that no one remained underrepresented, so everyone had participation everywhere. The occupation were divided on the basis of caste, the work of carpenter, barbar, blacksmith, potter, and cobbler was all devided. Everyone had to serve the people of the entire vilage with their work. The economy was based on agriculture so money came after harvesting the crops and everyone got their wages. All people had equal participation in marriages, cultural activities and religious events as per their social role. Human resources professionals must study social inclusion for better understanding of diversity and inclusion.
