Summary: Grew up on a ranch, learned usage of tools at a very young age. Developed skills through years with hands on experience. Learned techniques from those with more experience. Acquired degrees to refine my skills and broaden my education and knowledge. Learned about how things work with every opportunity. Never passed on an opportunity to learn more. I am not an expert nor a master, however I'm refined in the skills I possess. I will always improve, but will never be the best. Once you say you're the best at something, I believe you have set yourself up to fail because in your mind you can not learn anymore as you believe you've learned it all. I would rather do a job for nothing or next to nothing and have referrals, than to bill top dollar and rely on advertising for my next job. We all have only one life to live. Live it now. Live for the moment. Live it to the fullest of your ability, because tomorrow isn't guaranteed. Learn from the past, don't destroy it.

Summary: I have attached a 2019 version of my portfolio which covers from educational beginnings to just prior to the COVID pandemic. I have been self employed for 20 years as my primary source of income from 2001 till 2021. I am proficient in civil engineering, structural engineering, BIM Modeling and architecture. I consider my primary role as a overall architectural project coordinator of many design projects. integrating all aspects as a whole, with the knowledge that any specific discipline could run across key aspects that could and would override the ability of another. an example would be my first observational analysis of a project, hydrological water conveyance of storm runoff. second would be slope or gradient of a site, along with local building regulations. typically zoning would be a huge judging factor, but re-zoning is an option and local council/ commissions can be convinced that the original zoning was inconsiderate. then the building original concept was either acceptable or will be adjusted accordingly. structural is very versatile. MEP can always be manipulated to fit. size of land to accommodate all required parking/building/accessable routing and other accessory structures. I have always dedicated top quality, attention to detail, and desired end products as priority. accurate initial cost assessment and estimating should be achieved so that time dedicated is not constrained or denied to maintain profit. I will work for free on specific cases of donated services, or incorrect initial cost assessment. The priority is to provide top notch exemplary services and end products so that the quality provided ensures continued ventures with institutions/clients/customers/ partners.
