Beginning in 2007, he expanded his design and construction industry expertise to encompass media and marketing on HGTV’s Designed to Sell, Curb Appeal: The Block, Showdown, Design Star, Wise Buys and Elbow Room. He has also appeared on Ellen’s Design Challenge, Oprah, The Weather Channel and CNN. As an Emmy Award-winning host, designer and executive producer for networks such as HGTV, FOX, FOOD and DIY, Chip has become known for his creative direction using innovative technologies.  Chip demonstrates the process from concept through construction to show viewers how to customize their spaces to perfectly suit their lifestyles. In the technology arena, many leading brands in the home and lifestyle category utilize Chip's user-driven digital environments to provide their customers cutting edge point-of-purchase and virtual reality experiences. In 2019 Chip CoFounded and launched SURREAL Events, a fully immersive virtual events platform for brands and tradeshows.
