The Driver Foundation is celebrating Valentine’s Day for the sixth consecutive year by giving back to the Trevor Project, a life-saving organization that helps LGBTQ young people see a bright future for themselves and feel accepted for who they are.
When Covid-19 devastated the Washington, D.C. restaurant industry, Social Driver and The Driver Foundation launched an initiative to help drive business to LGBTQ-owned and Black-owned restaurants and deliver food to nonprofits serving LGBTQ and BIPOC youth at risk of homelessness.
Social Driver and The Driver Foundation support LearnServe International, a nonprofit that equips diverse high school students with entrepreneurial skills. Team members have served as mentors and Boardroom Champions. Social Driver was named LearnServe International’s Civic Champion and One of Washington’s Most Charitable Companies by The Washingtonian.
The Driver Foundation gave back to the communities where Social Driver team members live, and supported the causes most important to them through a series of charitable microgrants to nonprofits of their choosing.
