Any project working with this
[edit]I am newbie in this area but do Wikidata have a plan what haplogroups should be set up and what properties should be set?
Will we reference Y-full, ISOGG
I also think we should have a standard how to add this property when the haplogroup is defined by inheriting the haplogroup.
See test I did Q185832#P4426 using sourcing circumstances (P1480) and presumably (Q18122778)
My understanding
- official Y chromosome haplogroup structure is at isogg.org
- official mtDNA haplogroup structure is www.phylotree.org

- Although Wikidata editor's own estimation would not be appropriate, I think adding information using sourcing circumstances (P1480) and presumably (Q18122778) would be acceptable as far as the estimation is done by the author within the source. --Was a bee (talk) 10:56, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
- It might be useful to create a new item "presumably because of inheritance" to be used for sourcing circumstances (P1480) that subclasses presumably (Q18122778). ChristianKl (talk) 12:23, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
- Recently, new page Wikidata:WikiProject Haplogroups was created. The page would be useful for you if you want to make unified edit format among haplogroup related content. --Was a bee (talk) 12:56, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
