Syuzanna Martirosyan is a fellow at the office of the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations (77th Session). She serves as an Attaché at the division of Multilateral Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. Syuzanna is responsible for the cooperation with the United Nations Regional Commissions and Specialized Agencies, such as UNECE, UNIDO, UNCTAD, UNCITRAL, UNWTO, ILO, etc. Prior to joining the foreign service, she worked at the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, and also has experience working in the private sector.
Syuzanna authored several articles published in academic journals. Her areas of interest include political processes in the South Caucasus, ethnopolitical conflicts, energy geopolitics, transport networks, etc.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Yerevan Brusov State University. She speaks Armenian (native), English and Russian.
