ISSUE-38: Align content in a column on decimal points, etc.
align columns
Align content in a column on decimal points, etc.
- State:
- RAISED
- Product:
- CSS3 Template Layout
- Raised by:

- Opened on:

- Description:
- (May also apply to CSS Table module.)
There is a 'vertical-align' to align the cells in a row in certain ways, but no 'horizontal-align' to align cells in a column. Possible things to align on are decimal points, centers or baselines (in case the cell has only vertical text).
Is there a need to introduce a 'horizontal-align: left | right | center | <string> | baseline'?
The <string> value only works if the content is a single line of horizontal text. The others only work if the content is vertical text with no horizontal text at the top level.
