Brilliant little set of rules, satisfying attack/defend combat that can be over quick or last for some time as you parry each others attacks back and forth. Still with a decent amount of variation. Fantastic work!
Thanks for the thoughtful review. Your comment history is a collection of thoughtful reviews, so it’s interesting to read through.
Hey there. I really like your game. I made a little video about it. Thank you for the fun time! (I'm from Germany, so you might not understand a word, but I liked it!)
Thank you—always love to see people play my games. I like that you used this game as a one-off dungeon in a larger story. I've made some tweaks to the game PDF based on your playthrough.
Thanks for the experience, great game with all its simplicity! I made a mistake drawing the layout, but it was totally me, all the rules are easy to understand - actually this was my very first play with the game, and everything went smoothly! 🤩
I absolutely recommend it as a beginners’ buy-in game!
Thanks, amazing video. I've made some changes to the game based on your play-through. Two wyrms in a row was unlucky.
Oh, I see you have already updated it, I will check soon!
This is a really fun, simple idea. Maybe label the four layouts with the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 so it's immediately clear that the each dice roll generates one of those layouts? Hope that's helpful.
I love how simple this is, but i think the layout could be played around with more to fit more layouts. Or even the back of the page being for more layouts.
I thought about more varied shapes, but I wanted a left-to-right horizontal approach so that you could draw the dungeon across the top of a piece of paper and still have lots of room below for notes etc. I appreciate that the results are less interesting than if the dungeon e.g. turned back on itself.
I enjoyed the different possibilities and it felt nice to loot stuff, thank you for the game :) I think it would help to put the armour rules close to the fighting rules, I had to keep scrolling up and down
Thanks for the feedback. I've tweaked the PDF so the Chest and Enemy sections are closer to the Combat section. Hopefully that saves on some scrolling.
