This game is the result of years of volunteer work by fans of the first game and is in a state of ongoing development. Move around freely using your Omni-Directional Movement Gear, slay titans with your favorite weapon types from the anime, battle against others in PVP modes, and more!

Current version: 10.30.2024
Windows Launcher: Download this launcher to auto-update your game. Extract the Aottg2Launcher folder using a zip program, and run Aottg2Launcher.exe. You may need to disable antivirus/firewall or add the program to your exceptions list. The folder name containing Aottg2Launcher.exe cannot be renamed and must be called Aottg2Launcher.
Standalone: Alternatively, you can download a standalone build for Windows, Mac, or Linux. Standalone builds do not auto-update and must be re-downloaded every time the game updates.

You should try to use proton with the launcher to get it to work. Running the Linux build is not preferred since it does not auto update.
The game is amazing but currently it is unplayable at least I have tested it on the windows x64 version, when a titan hits the ground or kills your character the game crashes and closes automatically I hope they fix this bug soon.
This is being fixed in the next update coming in the next few days 👍

Make sure your multiplayer settings look like the picture below. You also want to make sure that AoTTG2 is allowed to connect online, you may have denied it access on accident.

Bro, the same thing happens to me, unlike you, I open the game for at least 5 minutes and the screen freezes and then says "not responding" and closes. That happened to me in the new update because when they released the game it was working great and now I can't even play without it closing (I'm a 64-bit game). Greetings from Venezuela.
check that your antivirus is not removing any game files. Next, your profile settings may be corrupted - you can reset them by deleting the Documents/Aottg2 folder and restarting the game. This can also be caused by OneDrive not allowing access to your Documents folder - you should exclude the OneDrive/Documents/Aottg2 folder from onedrive, or disable onedrive sync.
Ok, it's not about the antivirus because I don't have one. I'm going to try to delete the folder that is in documents.

No, it didn't work. I did everything you said. The only thing I didn't move was the antivirus and OneDrive because I don't have an antivirus and I've had OneDrive disabled for months. I already deleted the files in documents and hit "repair" and it still doesn't work. But oh well, what can I do? I have to wait for time to make its next move.
This might be an issue related to the effects, we have an issue causes crashes but it should be fixed in the coming days 👍

Una pregunta. En lOS ajustes del juego encontré algo sobre el titán colosal pero por alguna razón no encuentro nada más sobre el ni misiones ni transformaciones ni nada y no sé si aún no han implementado o no lo encuentro. A también qué tal si agregan los demás titanes ya que no sé si están en el juego tal vez podrían agregarlos. Adios
Is there any way to fixate the cursor/crosshair to the center of the screen?
it's on the settings, you can set the default camera to set it to third person camera, the original, or fps camera. Or you can press C in-game, but you'll have to do it every time you respawn.
That aint the solution I am looking for. Have been playing the OG AoTTG and I do know that pressing C cycles through the camera options.
What I am not familiar with is this new "Cursor/Crosshair" system as I mentioned.
It acts like a Wii Pointer i.e The Crosshair moves around the screen and doesn't stay fixed on the center, unlike the OG AoTTG.
I want to toggle enable specifically that.
If you're playing on Linux, then it's a bug we're still trying to fix. The solution a lot of Linux players have used so far has been playing the Windows build through Proton.
there is a recent bug that happens to me and a friend when we enter a server or create one, it happens not 4 min and it is crossed when entering a sv we try it in another region like US or EU and it is still

Okay 1. It's just a question a most games nowadays even on here are controller compatible so it's not like I'm asking if it has main stream game graphics. It's okay if it's not and I understand that a lot of hard work went into this game. 2. That gives you no need to be rude about it as it actually will most likely drive people away from the game. 3. I hope whatever has you in a crabby mode blows over because clearly there has to be something wrong that is making you comment something rude and unnecessary. 4. The most important thing. To give you a better explanation, this game requires an absolutely absurd level of speed and precision with your inputs to be able to move effectively. When you start playing, even as a skilled PC gamer with a mouse and keyboard, it'll be hard to even move around. A controller just doesn't provide the level of precision at speed you'd need to be able to enjoy the game. I don't know if there are any plans to make it controller compatible or if it's possible, but I just don't think this is the kind of game that would be very fun on controller. It's like playing a driving game on mouse and keyboard. It can be done, but it's just not as enjoyable as other input methods.

Right now, you have to use 3rd party controller software. Maybe one day we can add proper controller support!
Maybe try to implement Flick Stick and Gyro Aim when the time comes.

As much as i want to say i enjoy the game because i love aot i would be lying if i said i had fun the only problem with this game for me is the mechanics its feels so difficult trying to move around with hooks i try to make a turn sometimes and it just dont turn i try to gain momentum and cant get any to hit the titans neck sadly i wont be coming back to this game
Are you new to this game? It is difficult at first with a high skill floor and ceiling, but it is quite fun once you get used to it.
its a good game, but i would say the movements is hard tbh
It straight up takes a solid 4, 5 hours of practice to be able to play the AoTTG as intended. That applied to the original game too. But it's like learning to ride a bike. It doesn't make sense until it suddenly just does, it'll click for you, and it'll be incredibly natural to play when it does. I understand if it's a deal breaker for you, but I promise it's incredibly fun and satisfying when you invest the time to learn how it works.

Are the double hooks going to have it's predecessor where you can see where you can launch the hooks?
This is already in the game, in the UI tab under Settings click the "Crosshair Arrows" box.
I'm not the greatest at the game but I'm learning. It also reminded me how uninformed I am about the anime, so I'm watching it now.
