The original Razer Kishi never quite lived up to its promise. It was comfy, light, compact, and had great sticks and buttons, but it wasn't so much a "Mobile Game Controller" as a "Xbox GamePass Cloud Controller that supported a few other games and apps".
This largely solves that issue. It isn't as compact, but it's not notably heavier in the hand, offers a similarly comfy grip, and the buttons are still very nice. The triggers are improved. There's remappable secondary shoulder buttons! And this time the controller has compatibility with TONS of mobile games, and can be made to work with even more with the new App's controller mapping suite.
With this, mobile games don't suck to play. I can game on the go with comfort.
I know the GameCube came out 20 years ago at this point, but it continues to be quite surreal being able to play GameCube games on the go on a general-purpose device, with physical controls!
Original review follows, with some edits based on my experience:
I have a hackable Switch, but chose to try this out after being extremely disappointed with the Switch's performance as an emulation system — late N64 releases barely run, and don't even think about playing GameCube games.
The Kishi perfectly fits my Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G out of the box (a phone too big for the Kishi V1, which has hardware about twice as good as a Switch). Buttons feel good, not mushy, and the sticks are good. Triggers feel nice, and the analog support is always nice to have (Looking at you, Nintendo.). The four auxillary buttons are in kind of weird places, but it works.
Tightly grips the phone, and the slight curve to the grips is much more comfortable than holding the phone itself, or even Switch Joy-Con. Build quality feels solid; it flexes a little bit when fully extended, but that's not a position you'll ever have it in except when putting the phone in.
The Razer Nexus app is a little weird and not terribly useful, but it runs under microG and doesn't require an internet connection. The touch control emulation works great in the few apps I've tried it in, but it's necessarily a pretty subpar experience. I didn't keep playing games that required it, native controller support is the way to go. Verify that the games you want to play support controllers before purchasing!
Works perfectly in RetroArch, Lemuroid, and Dolphin — also works to navigate Android itself. Waiting (im)patiently for Yuzu controller support to report on that.
I got this on a Warehouse deal for ~$60. Its normal $100 asking price is a bit steep, but it's not too bad compared to its competitors and for what you get.

The build doesn't feel cheap, and the design is well thought through. The ABXY buttons are clicky and tactile, not increadbly loud, but not quiet either. Same goes for the bumpers, extra macro buttons, and directional pad. The joysticks are decent with limited movement, but I think was the right choice for a portable controller.
Most cases won't fit, unless they are slim ones. The rubber pads included help keep the phone sturdy if you don't have a case. I also like the edition of pass through charging having a small battery, although it doesn't have a headphone port. I always use bluetooth headphones, so that wasn't an issue for me.
The Nexus app (A shortcut button for the app is on the controller) has a game launcher, game discovery, controller firmware updating, and mapping for the macro buttons. Although it doesn't need a subscription, its pretty basic, and I wish you could map the nexus button to a launcher of your choice. Things like background ambience, custom icons, and smoother transitions would be a nice addition in the future.
Overall the unboxing, and build quality was a great experience. The nexus app just needs a bit of fine tuning.

Very responsive and quite comfortable grip wise
