The Printer Whisperer
A downloadable Zine
There is something fascinating about surrealism that could be horror but is not only by virtue of everyone shrugging and acting like it is completely normal.
In 2020, seemingly overnight, the entire world seemed to be plunged into a new day-to-day that was exactly that: surreal, terrifying, and yet boringly mundane. This zine is a tribute to every weird day at the office.
This zine contains 31 illustrated short stories that are each exactly 100 words long.
According to the Broken Pencil Magazine's review: "[...] an impressive flourish of constrained technique" and "Marie’s embrace of the fantastic as normal makes for fun and compelling tension."

Your stories are so whimsical, spooky and funny!! Every office needs a ritual sacrifice nomination box! RIP Shirley Jackson, you would have absolutely loved that story! A must-buy!!
When I opened this zine I wasn't prepared to read ones of the most interesting and fun stories I have read this whole year!
The stories of the ghost that haunts the third floor, designer2, spring, the snoring in the back store, Mark's Excel spreadsheets and the building not wanting you to leave are my favorites! The "Fog" and "Alien fast food" where sad but still brilliantly executed and a very satisfying read!
I didn't know I needed to read this until I did. I totally recommend it to anyone craving some surreal office occurrences!
The designer2 story hit too close to home 😵💫
