Description
English: This ist the first Lengfeld-advertisement, which could be found in "Kölnische Zeitung". 2nd August 1848. The (Cologne) Adress in1848 was: Hohe Straße 120 (High Street Number 120). – Moritz Lengfeld opened the bookshop in Cologne in 1842. M. Lengfeld had previously worked for 12 years at J. A. Mayer'sche Buchhandlung, later known as the well-known short version "Mayersche", in Aachen. However, there were other bookshops in Cologne earlier. For example, a bookshop like Johann Peter Bachem was founded as early as 1824.
Deutsch: Das ist die erste Lengfeld-Anzeige, die in der "Kölnischen Zeitung" gefunden werden konnte. 2.8.1848. Adresse des Buchgeschäftes war zu dieser Zeit: Hochstraße 120. – Im Jahr 1842 eröffnete Moritz Lengfeld die Buchhandlung in Köln. M. Lengfeld hatte zuvor bereits 12 Jahre bei J. A. Mayer, in der J. A. Mayer'schen Buchhandlung, bekannt später in der sehr bekannten Kurz-Version "Mayersche", in Aachen gearbeitet. Andere Buchhandlungen gab es früger aber schon in Köln. Beispiel: Eine Buchhandlung wie Johann Peter Bachem wurde z. B. bereits 1824 gegründet.
