Great! Toggle´s track is superb. I even hear it without the demo. :-)

Wow, didn't know you guys were this good! :) And what a coordination it must have been with so many people involved, not least 8 coders.

Okay, but jokes aside. I have no clue about Unity (the game engine) but is it even remotely conceivable to get *anything* useful for the C64 demoscene out of it?

Using Unity for making a demo is cheating though :)

anyone who voted this one lower than 7 should ban themselves ad even the 7 voters might need new eyes or pick another hobby such s collecting stamps

Very good demo with a lot of new ideas and fresh screens. Loved the “Japanese Sun” effect a lot. Mibri and Toggle’s musics shine and push the demo higher. Enjoyed it a lot. Congratz.

I'm really happy and proud to be a little part of this great Padlantis team effort. <3 Admittedly I was a quite bit awed when Mibri previewed his tune which became a really sophisticated beauty and it's even singing "Unity" as if it's nothing!

This is a great demo, no doubt! ..and funny to hear that old rumor about groups arranging their own kinda secret party just to be able to win the demo-compo :D. That is clearly not the case here, and we can all just blame ourselves for not making a better demo, or at least make a try..

Congratulations to Padua and Atlantis for a great release and a well deserved win!

:-o there you got me. But this speaks for your demo again, more even when you could pull this of with such a lean toolchain. In the pure spirit of unity and not any commercial product requiring you to activate seat licenses. Great!

Great demo and nice to see Unity was involved into the making...

Erm, thanks, but this was not made with unity in reality. It's just a reference and an artistic interpretation.

Would open source plugins/tools you used?

Too many for us to count and list here. But I'll give you a list of a fee from the top of my head, but not all of them are open source:

* Kickassembler
* 64tass
* git
* vscode
* vscode kickassembler plugin by Paul Hocker
* GoatTracker
* SID-Wizard
* Spritpad
* Multipaint
* Pixcen

and many manny more.

Great demo and nice to see Unity was involved into the making, since this was my major tool for kinda decade. And beside the usual bloating over the years it always kept the flexibility and extensibility, multi platform not to speak :-). Any chance you would open source plugins/tools you used?

Thank you all for your kind comments <3 I would have loved to be more involved in this project than I was, but I happened to also be busy organizing and marketing a certain event. Great teamwork, especially in the last two weeks, thank you to everyone involved to make this better than I imagined.

great demo! I love the triple fisting part and the one with the big logo swing with that strange colour fx (is it by you, Doc?).

The fistqualizer was coded by q0w. The LayerLogo was done by Dr. Science.

I have a question tho (a simple straight question without malignity and bad feelings which I hope won't offend anyone): if you are the organizers of a party should your demo compete against other entries or be set out of the compo?

Appreciate the question. Something like this has happened at other parties many many times before, it took less than a minute to find several other examples here on CSDb.

For us, there were a number of reasons this happened, mostly because the timing worked out. For a new event, there are many risks involved. One of the biggest risks is a lack of release for the competitions. One way to address this is to have your own entry.
