This means that after that date, these operating systems will no longer receive security updates from upstream vendors, making them more vulnerable to potential security issues<strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Safe Migration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t worry, we&#8217;ve got your back! We understand that migrating to a new operating system can take time. That&#8217;s why we&#8217;re offering a few options to help you through this transition:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class="\"wp-block-list\"">\n<li><strong>Migration Tools:<\/strong> cPanel offers user-friendly migration tools to help you move your data and settings to a supported operating system. Click through to learn more about the <a href="./?url=aHR0cHM6Ly9jcGFuZWwubmV0L3dwLWpzb24vd3AvdjIvcG9zdHMvNjYzMzcvXCJodHRwczpcL1wvZG9jcy5jcGFuZWwubmV0XC93aG1cL3RyYW5zZmVyc1wvdHJhbnNmZXItdG9vbFwvXCI=" target="\"_blank\"" rel="\"noreferrer" noopener="\"">Transfer Tool.<\/a><br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In-place OS Upgrades<\/strong>: The cPanel <a href="./?url=aHR0cHM6Ly9jcGFuZWwubmV0L3dwLWpzb24vd3AvdjIvcG9zdHMvNjYzMzcvXCJodHRwczpcL1wvY3BhbmVsLmdpdGh1Yi5pb1wvZWxldmF0ZVwvXCI=" target="\"_blank\"" rel="\"noreferrer" noopener="\"">ELevate<\/a> tool is designed to facilitate in-place upgrades between RHEL 7 to RHEL 8 based installations.&nbsp;<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS):<\/strong> We are enrolling all servers running CentOS 7 or CloudLinux 7 on cPanel v110 in the Extended Lifecycle Support program to provide you with some extra breathing room. <strong>This includes CentOS Enterprise 7 and CloudLinux Enterprise 7<\/strong>. During this time, we\u2019ll partner with <a href="./?url=aHR0cHM6Ly9jcGFuZWwubmV0L3dwLWpzb24vd3AvdjIvcG9zdHMvNjYzMzcvXCJodHRwczpcL1wvdHV4Y2FyZS5jb21cL2V4dGVuZGVkLWxpZmVjeWNsZS1zdXBwb3J0XC9cIg==">TuxCare <\/a>to deliver critical security updates for CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7 users. cPanel will also provide critical security updates and technical support for cPanel v110. Partners are still expected to provide support for their direct customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Extended Lifecycle Support program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s a heads-up about the Extended Lifecycle Support program:<\/strong> This ELS program will run from <strong>July 1, 2024 to January 1, 2026<\/strong>. There will be an additional monthly ELS fee per qualifying license to cover the additional security updates starting <strong>August 1, 2024<\/strong>. Such fee will continue being charged until the underlying operating system is upgraded to a supported version. We are offering one month of free coverage for the month of <strong>July 2024<\/strong>. This fee is subject to increase after six months (<strong>January 1, 2025<\/strong>). Licenses associated with supported operating systems will not incur additional ELS fees.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We understand that this might be a bit of a change, but our priority is to keep your websites secure and running smoothly. We encourage you to start planning your migration to a <a href="./?url=aHR0cHM6Ly9jcGFuZWwubmV0L3dwLWpzb24vd3AvdjIvcG9zdHMvNjYzMzcvXCJodHRwczpcL1wvZG9jcy5jcGFuZWwubmV0XC9pbnN0YWxsYXRpb24tZ3VpZGVcL3N5c3RlbS1yZXF1aXJlbWVudHNcL1wi" target="\"_blank\"" rel="\"noreferrer" noopener="\"">supported operating system<\/a> as soon as possible.
