How do we Insert Values into Database using BPEL Designer?

Hello,

My goal is to orchestrate using Eclipse BPEL Designer. I want to read a file and write data to the database using BPEL.

Since, I come from an Oracle SOA background, in Oracle we use DB Adapter and File Adapter to interact with database and file respectively. How do we achieve this in JBoss? How can I expose resources as a service and use them in BPEL?

Please shed some light.

Hi Gurpreet

Riftsaw, which is based on Apache ODE, does not directly provide such adapters, it just orchestrates web services.

However riftsaw is used as the BPEL component within the SwitchYard ESB, which does have file bindings - not sure about database, so if you are interested in this approach, then I would suggest asking on that project: http://www.jboss.org/switchyard
