I've always been a fan of writing and games, the two have been intertwined together since I started writing up my first D&D character at the tender age of seven (my first DM was my mother). Over the years, I explored and tried a lot of things but it wasn't until I was expecting our first child that I realized I needed to sit down, focus on one thing, and doing the best I could.
So, in 2010, I decided to write. Since I also like deep world-building and a rich setting, I dedicated that decade to writing a single, fantasy/steampunk world called Fedran.
Fedran is a world on the cusp of two great ages. The rapidly fading world of magic clings to the last remnants of a great society that unfortunately reached the limits of spells and mages. The new world, one of machines and devices, struggles to find its place among the old guard.
I wanted to write a world where someone can be falling in love in one side of the country while another is dying in a different and a third person is trying to solve a murder. There are a lot of topics and I don't stick with one genre, there is romance, action, drama, tragedy, slice of life, and a whole slew of other stories that interest me.
All of the stories are centered around the world's first world war with phase one stories being before the war, two during the fighting, and three after the battle. Most of my writing is so far phase one stories.
All the fiction on the site is free to read, I'm supported by donations and patrons. The books on Itch are ones that have been thoroughly edited (at least two passes), typeset, and made pretty. The other half million words of fiction aren't quite there yet but still in the process of getting editors.
